This procedure is called for when there is an excess of the skin envelope of the breast in contrast with the volume of the breast tissue itself.

The objective is to create a good shape without changing the overall volume of the breast tissue.

When necessary, this technique is used in conjunction with augmentation.

This procedure is performed under local anesthesia with I.V. sedation, and the recovery period is approximately one week.
