This is a condition present in men and characterized by excess fat accumulating in the breast area producing an undesired protrusion of the breasts.

Correction is obtained by liposuction, at times associated with the direct removal of remaining excess tissue under the areola, via a small incision under the areola itself.

The procedure is performed as an outpatient procedure, and the patient is usually back to work following a 2-3 days recovery.
